Welcoming Sheep to our Homestead!
This weekend we welcomed in some new and exciting members to our homestead family - Dougie, Betty and Mary the Australian sheep.
Years ago we realised that sheep would be a great addition to our homestead to reduce our need to mow the grass, however we needed to fence off our farm area to avoid them eating all our veggies. After building a sheep shelter this month we were finally ready to welcome in our sheep.
They are such beautiful, calm animals and I can't wait for them to settle in and become more familiar with us.
