The zoo spans about 130 acres, including a lake (Katraj Lake)
Managed by Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).
The zoo is divided into three main parts:
Animal, Snakes, Reptiles, Mammals, Birds, Lion, White Tiger, Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Blackbuck, Sambar Deer, Monkeys, Elephants, Python, Cobras, Vipers, King Cobra, Crocodiles, Tortoises and Other Species.
Visiting Details:
Timings: 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM on open days.
Closed: Wednesdays.
Entry Fee (based on latest PMC/CZA numbers):
Guided tour: Guide is available for groups for ₹ 50.
Electric cart ride: ₹ 40 for adults, ₹ 25 for children
