Let’s see some more from last, still the first, three days of testing the Omegon Astrograph, f2.8.
I call it the “Hyperdrive” since it collects light so fast. Still just collecting with 2 min exposures I gather light like nothing I’ve seen before.
In the clip I just finished the “Ghost of Cassiopeia” that ended up in a 45 x 120s image.
The rest of the evening was on a larger group of nebulas in the border between Cassiopeia and Cepheus. The most eye catching parts are the star cluster M52, The Bubble nebula and The Lobster claw. There is also sh2-159, another smaller star cluster, NCG7510 and much more.
Absolutely wonderful area. Can be target for “Big Bertha” at some point. Already done the Bubble nebula, but not with the ASI2600MC. First however, there are much more to do in the region. Just take a pic! Pun intended.

As for the testing of the Hyperdrive telescope, I still have content to share after this.
It’s unbelievable. Sadly, I have only had about 3 nights and since then we’ve been under a wet spell. And the days are counted.

See you next time with more crazy images from fantastic nebulas!
And may the dark side be with you!
