How to get to a final draft
Here is all you need to know about proofreading your manuscript to get your paper ready for submission to any high impact journal or to get good grades in an essay/report. You MUST check for:
Figures and formatting 1:25
Fact check 3:49
Notes to authors 5:30
References 6:29
"Concise" and "Simple" 8:15
Final polish 9:42
And make sure the last thing you do before submitting is:
Spellcheck at the end 11:29
In between read throughs to help your concentration it is important that you:
Take breaks 11:53
Lastly, and probably most importantly, I talk about why it IS worthwhile doing all these time-consuming read throughs:
