Being able to answer "So what?" (or "Why should someone be interested in your research enough to read or cite it?") helps you clearly show that your research is novel, interesting and therefore worth publishing in a high impact journal.
In this video I therefore explain how always thinking about "So what?" in your writing and research will help you be a better researcher.

To help you understand why thinking about "So what?" is so important in academic writing and research I talk about:
A common mistake - not having a "So what?" when you think you do 1:15
Where we find and use "So what?"'s in a research paper 1:56
An example of how to use "So what?" 4:46
"So what?" and how it helps you come up with future research ideas 7:32

If you can't properly answer "So what?" about your research you will NOT be published in a high-impact paper so have a look at this video to understand what it means and how to do it.

If you have any other research topics you would like help with please leave a comment below and I will see what I can do.
