In this tutorial, we'll explore how to create a realistic wood destruction simulation using rigid body dynamics (RBD) and soft constraints in SideFX Houdini. By applying soft constraints to our simulation, we can achieve a more organic and natural-looking destruction effect.

Setting Up the Scene
Start by creating a new Houdini project and importing a model of a wooden object that you want to simulate the destruction of. Ensure that the model is properly divided into individual pieces or chunks to allow for realistic fragmentation.

Applying Rigid Body Dynamics

Select your wooden object geometry and go to the Rigid Bodies shelf tab.
