God Is Not A Lollipop
If you were the devil and you did not want people to go to heaven, you would create some of the most beautiful and tempting lollipops ever seen. This is what is known as eye candy because it is pleasing to the eye, but not to the soul.
Matthew 24:9,10, Then they will hand you over to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. And at that time many will fall away, and they will betray one another and hate one another. Two chapters later we see the disciples also fleeing as Jesus is taken captive.
