This song has a really cool back story. Paul McCartney woke up in the morning and a melody had come to him a dream. The melody was so clear that Paul was positive that he had to have heard it before but he wanted to get it down on paper anyways. It was just a melody, it wasn't a full flushed out song with lyrics, so he just wanted to get it down and paper and the first lyrics were... scrambled eggs. Scram-bled eggs, 3 syllables like yes-ter-day. Imagine if he would've stayed with those lyrics.
