Tokyo: Exploring Japan's fascinating capital 2024
I end a series of videos from Japan in the capital Tokyo, one of the world’s most dynamic cities and a delight to visit.
I arrived here by bullet train, a smooth four-hour glide from distant Hiroshima, alighting at Tokyo Station into the super-sized crowded orderliness that instantly reminds me of one of the things I admire so much about Japan.
Like most of the truly great cities of the world, Tokyo is anything you want it to be, which is another way of saying there’s something here for everyone.
After having made a one-off visit to Tokyo in 2023, I’ve focused this video on some of the things I missed then. And thanks to some unpredictable weather I still left things on the table.
