01. Simple Twist Of Fate
Before the whole gang returns, Dylan comes out to sing two songs alone: “The Fourth Time Around” and “A Simple Twist of Fate.” This night was the one and only time on this tour that he performed “The Fourth Time Around.”

I saw Bob Dylan and the Rolling Thunder Revue in Augusta, Maine on November 26th, 1976. I was thirteen years old, and went with my two older sisters. It was the very first rock concert I ever attended. I had always assumed that my only memento of the event would be the uncertain grasp of memory. I was pleasantly surprised recently when I came across a recording of the show online. The sound quality isn’t great: it was recorded with a mid-1970s microphone and cassette player by a member of the audience. Nonetheless, you can still get a good sense of what an outstanding show it was.
