This is the full video of my get ready with me and Aspen for day two. This is more of a taking down my hair, which was about a 10 minute process from it bantu knots.
During this video I talk about my process of doing my hair like this for the first time while going to a conference in Aspen Colorado. I decided to blow dry and press my hair so that it’ll be easier to retain moisture in the dense and colder environment of Colorado. Colder, environments are rather harsh on my hair since it makes it harder to maintain moisture and nourishment.
I generally would go to my hairdresser and let her blow my hair out this time of year, but I decided to take this upon myself.
Each and every day is an extension of my natural hair journey, and it’s been several years in the making out, understanding how to properly care for my hair. My hair does take a lot of time and maintenance. however it’s time and maintenance that makes every hair follicle is loved and cared for 🤍
