CLIMBING THE HALF DOME CABLE ROUTE AND YOSEMITE WATERFALLS WITH A MATH GENIUS
Half Dome is an iconic formation of Yosemite National Park and the cable route has become a bucket list climb for many. Half Dome was first climbed in 1875 and the cables were installed in 1919. The trail passes two Yosemite waterfalls, namely Vernal falls and Nevada falls. It has been the logo for North Face since 1971 and the home of the ashes of Ansel Adams. The permit system to climb the cable route can be tricky and is a "terrible randomized lottery" per one ranger.
