Jan Akkerman - Streetwalker
Jan Akkerman is a dutch guitarist , voted Best Guitarist in the World by readers of the UK magazine Melody Maker in 1973.
He founded the band Brainbox in the late 1960's , but after the release of their first album, in 1969 , he left to join the band Focus with whom he gained international commercial succes.
Akkerman left Focus around 1976 , due to disagreements with his fellow band member Thijs van Leer , to pursue a solo career.
During and before his involvement with Brainbox and Focus , Akkerman had released a number of solo albums.
All in all , between 1968 and 2019 38 albums were released.
