Nina Hagen Band - Der Spinner
Catharina "Nina" Hagen was born in East Berlin, East Germany , and began her career as an actress and singer.
She migrated to West Germany around 1976 and formed the Nina Hagen Band which released 2 albums (1978 and 1979).
She is known for her theatrical vocals , and rose to fame during the punk and Neue Deutsche Welle movements in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
She is called "The Godmother of German Punk".
After she left the Nina Hagen Band , the band members continued as "Spliff".
