Video and imagery from the Extended GOES-R imagery add-on in WSV3.
WSV3 is the only piece of Windows PC software in existence which composites original grayscale GOES-R CMIP imagery bands to generate RGB multispectral satellite imagery visualizations in real-time on GPU. You can find websites where some of these are implemented as server-rendered static JPG images in a web browser (often at highly reduced resolutions), but WSV3's real-time mathematical synthesis of the raw CMIP reflectance data in the GPU pixel shader unit allows temporal interpolation between frames to happen before the RGB True Color multispectral colorization math, giving the extremely smooth and high-definition result shown here. Additionally, this derived product implements the 1km to 0.5km sharpening algorithm published in NOAA scientific literature in realtime using GPU texture fetch hardware (essentially, uses spatial derivatives to boost Bands 1 and 3 to Band 2's maximal 0.5km ultra-high spatial resolution).
