In this guide, DCUO MooseWIND shows you a quick and easy way to earn skill points and complete feats with minimal effort. This method is completely free and can be done in just a few simple steps.
Here’s how to do it:
Use your Warp Menu to travel to either Metropolis or Gotham. You will visit all locations in both cities.
Heroes should go to the nearest Police Station, and Villains should go to the nearest Hideout. Find the gear vendor—not the one that sells consumables.
Buy all the gear and the weapon that matches your build, but only for the styles you have not yet collected. Look for gear with either red or green lettering to know if you've collected it or not.
The Process
Equip and Swap: Make sure to equip each new piece of gear you purchase to register the style. Immediately after, swap back to your better gear. This is a crucial step to ensure you don't accidentally lower your stats.
Salvage or Sell: Once you've collected the style, you can either salvage or sell the lower-level gear. I recommend salvaging it, as the materials can be used to upgrade your artifacts.
Repeat: Continue this process at every location in both Gotham and Metropolis.
Important Note: It's best to avoid the vendors at the Watchtower for this method. Their gear is more expensive and often requires rare currency, which you'll want to save for other things. Only visit these vendors if you have an excess of Source Marks and absolutely need to collect every style.
A Final Tip from CoCo Le Moose
I personally wait until my characters are around Level 30 to start this farm. By then, I have plenty of in-game cash and don't need the low-level gear, which means I can salvage all the unused items and use the materials to quickly upgrade my artifacts! This makes the process much more efficient and useful in the long run.
