Episode 4 - Freida frog’s birthday adventure
In the shadow puppet theatre, come with cassowary riding, Freida Frog on an adventure for her birthday where she meets a dragonfly, crocodile, bird, northern quoll and an albino dolphin in an attempt to reach her mums’ house for her birthday feast at Cow Bay in the Daintree rainforest.
The puppets perform poetry series - “Tales from the wandering wheelie walker” showcase 14 different types of puppets, performing original rhyming poetry written by Naomi McGravie and narrated by Miss Kristobell.
Naomi McGravie has been a practicing hobbyist artist for 40 years in costuming, puppetry, poetry, set design, painting, directing and performance. Having facilitated workshops and strutted in a few parades - with people with disabilities using a variety of aids, she is proud to have taught many a person to have fun in some way – whether it be through arts, theatre, crafts, just talking or workshop play.
She has written and directed plays, loves using recycled products and believes that being creative is good for one’s soul!
Self-taught Artist, Poet, Puppeteer, Director, and so much more, Naomi McGravie welcomes Miss Kristobell who Narrates and Sings.

Meet a found puppet made from many recycled materials, who is not shy in discussing snot, she will introduce you to many of her friends who use the wheelie walker as a stage.

The wandering wheelie walker is transformed into a blacklight theatre featuring rod puppets, a human arm puppet, a converted soft toy puppet and some finger puppets.
