In this tutorial we will learn how to show images in a grid and zoom them using swipe gesture.
We will have two views. One is grid view to show images in the grid format and other is a simple image view where zoomed image will be displayed.
To show images in a grid view we will use Android’s GridView. This grid view needs an adapter to display images from a source. In our case we have an integer array of image drawables. We will write an ImageAdapter class extending from BaseAdapter class, to implement the functionality for displaying images in grid.
