I'm Jason, a solo indie game dev working passionately on my first big project: a cozy farming game with roguelike elements, inspired by Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon, and Dark Cloud. 🌱🔮
In today's video, we're speeding through the process of making a paper doll for our player, i had a basic system in before, but I'm redoing it so that it'll be more expansive in the future. If you'd like a more expanded video on this particular topic I'd be happy to make one if people want it. The system that I'm putting in place is going to enable each character with this layout to be able to swap out their sprites on the fly.
