When Would You Use a Dynamic EQ vs. a Regular EQ?? 🧐🤔
It comes down to whether or not frequencies are only problematic for an amount of time. In the case of cutting, is this frequency a problem 100% of the time? Or is it only a problem on certain notes, words, or syllables? If it’s only a problem some of the time then that’s when you’d use a dynamic tool to react to the frequencies rather than cutting when it really doesn’t need to (which can harm the sound).
