What is a Singular noun? When we are talking about just one person, animal, place or thing, we use a singular noun. Ex. cook, comb, bird, map, train, book, bag, cup, student, house, god etc..
What is a Plural noun? When we are talking about two or more people, animals, places or things, we have to make the plural nouns. When you talk about more than one of anything, you're using plural nouns. When you write about more than one of anything, you usually use the same word, simply adding an s, es, or ies to the end.
