The video covers extruders for high-temperature short-term (cooking) extrusion.
Cooking extrusion is applied to the production of crispbreads, filled pillows ( • Машинно-аппаратурная схема линии производс... ), corn sticks, flakes, rice balls and others.
The video shows the classification of extruders in general and screw extruders in particular, and gives a diagram of the technological zones of a twin-screw extruder, indicating the temperatures in each zone.
The schemes of screws of single- and twin-screw extruders are considered, the scheme of the movement of the melt in the body of the twin-screw extruder is presented.
An overview of modern foreign (Wenger, Clextral, Bühler, GEA Group, Saixin, Saibainuo) and domestic (SHTAK, P3-KED-88) extruders is made.
At the beginning of the video, I briefly talk about the history of the development of extruders.
Depending on the temperature in front of the die, there are three main types of extrusion: cold, warm and hot (cooking). With cold extrusion, the temperature of the molded mass in front of the die does not exceed 50 °C, with warm extrusion it is in the range of 60 ... 100 °C, with hot extrusion it is 120 ... 200 °C.
