Muddy Dog Canal Walk | Nottingham Canal
Today Barney and I head out along the Nottingham Canal which turned out to be a muddy dog canal walk.
This was Barney's first good walk (12.5 miles) since having surgery a couple of months ago.
Along the way we visited the haunted Strelley Hall and then onto the Robin Hood Way, passing the historical Wollaton Wagonway before reaching the disused Nottingham Canal - onwards to Wollaton Hall and it's Deer Park and finishing off by passing the Nottingham Canal Basin where the Wagonway connected with the canals and to the river Trent.
