2017 instructor Ashley Lopez performs at the JamBallah Showcase, at the Artist's Repertory Theatre in Portland, OR. She is an internationally touring artist and instructor. Ashley found herself greatly inspired by the the message of Mos Def's 'Quiet Dog' (the second song in this set), and it led her to create a piece about allowing oneself to be totally authentic to one's passion and philosophy as one sheds the burden of imaginary boundaries.
