Rats Playing in a Treat Laced Ball Pit!
Giving my rats their own treat-laced ball pit to play in during floor time - this is their reaction with a bonus clip of the rats Boarding the Human Train to go back to bed!
It would feel inappropriate following the increased media focus on reducing plastic usage and our own journey to reduce single use or wasteful plastic to not highlight that if you want to copy this enrichment activity the plastic balls we have featured can be substituted for by using wicker balls, fabric balls or paper balls instead. These options would have a less permanent and detrimental effect on our planet. If I had the views then as I do now, I wouldn't have bought plastic balls but would have looked into a less destructive option instead.
