Misinformation kills - Fake cancer cures and idiot influencers
There is so much cancer misinformation online, a veritable army of charlatans pushing alternative therapies, miracle cures, & natural diets to cure cancer. It's all complete garbage, but what's the harm?
Ask the family of Steve Jobs, the Apple CEO who delayed conventional therapy for his cancer to chase special diets until it was too late. Or Irina Stoynova, who almost died because she listed to halfwit influencers online instead of her oncologists.
If they're selling it online, it's almost certainly a crock. Patients who go down this road do far worse than those who stick to evidence-based medicine
