Building large scale application is more difficult than many people understand or expect. Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.
In this episode, we start out by setting up some custom exceptions, as well as custom exception handling for when things might go wrong while we attempt to create a post. Then we, setup the ability for anyone, regardless of being logged in to view posts. Wrapping up with setting up a new method to handle taking in list of images and a post body to create posts with media.
