🚀 Jason Wilson shares his journey of breaking into the IT field through Course Careers. He had previously dropped out of college and worked at FedEx and Amazon.
Jason was attracted to IT because of his interest in computers and found Course Careers as a stepping stone to enter the field. He initially had doubts about the program but decided to take the risk and purchase it. As he went through the course, his mindset changed, and he realized the value and legitimacy of the program. Jason completed the course in about four to five weeks but waited to take the proctored exam.
He eventually got a job in IT help desk before completing the exam. He highlights the importance of projects in the course, which he included on his resume to showcase his skills. Jason is now enjoying the freedom and customer service aspect of the tech industry and plans to continue expanding his knowledge in networking, security, and cloud.
