Ever since I first heard Down Bad, I've been wondering if Taylor Swift is a Trekkie. But moreso than that, I've been thinking about all the different Sci Fi themes in the song. And the more I think about all the sci fi romance tropes and imagery that Taylor has been using, the more I realize it isn't all quite as romantic as we have been lead to believe.
