Korean Center, Inc. Awarded Special Commendation by San Francisco Board of Supervisors - 9/6/2022
We are honored and thankful that the San Francisco Board of Supervisors awarded Korean Center, Inc a 'Special Commendation' for our work in the community over the decades. Accepting the award with an emotional and heartfelt speech was KCI's Executive Director, Kate Nam.
Following the award, The Board of Supervisors also considered passing a resolution to recognize September 10, 2022 as Chuseok Day in San Francisco. Many individuals voiced comments in support of the resolution, which was then passed unanimously by vote.
Thank you to the SF Boarrd of Supervisors and our incredible community for recognizing the importance of KCI and The Annual Chuseok Festival.
