How did our company start? It all began with rescuing a single honey bee in our kitchen. That one bee sparked a lifelong passion for natural beekeeping.
When we started looking for equipment, we noticed most hives were made from cheap pine that rotted quickly. We wanted something much better for our bees. That is why we began building our own Top Bar and Warré hives using premium Western Red Cedar. Cedar insulates better and lasts for generations. We also added viewing windows so you can easily check on your colony without disturbing them.
