Every city over 1 million visualized
Visualizing every city in the world with more than 1 million inhabitants. With urbanization the cities of the world are growing and many are now defined as megacities with over 10 million inhabitants. In this video we take a look at every city over 1 million inhabitants in 2020 and visualizing them on a world map using blocks.
In the first part, every yellow marker represents one city with a population between 1 and 10 million. The megacities of the world are marked with a black marker.
Then in the second part every block represents one million inhabitants with colours for every region respectively.
