Let's Craft: "Dead by Daylight" - Ghostface's Gut Tooth Knife

Today, I'll show you how to make Ghostface's Scorched Knife from the "Dead by Daylight“ game. It was suggested (along with the mask, that'll follow) by one of you awesome subscribers and immediately peaked my interest.

Life's a bit crazy right now and I barely get sleep, so sometimes things just go wrong. I thought about remaking the entire knife, but that would have been a waste of material and time. I also thought about just leaving it be, since I'm trying to be more lenient with myself and the knife did look good no matter what.
But looking at it Thursday morning just made me very grumpy, so I worked a bit of overtime to fix the issues. Since I messed up with the template, my knife is a bit longer (maybe 2-3cm), but the measurements you see on screen and down below are the correct ones :D
Anyway, making the knife was fun nontheless, even though the grey board was a challenge this time around. Normally I buy mine from an architecture model shop online, which honestly has a bit better quality than the Amazon version (but also higher price, which is why I use that for sale models only). This time I did get a stack off Amazon, but it features two different sides, one textured and one pressed.
If you buy the Amazon version (link below), make sure to flip your board when making the pieces, so that the pressed / smooth side of the board is always on the outside, and the rough side is where you would put the glue. Otherwise it'll crease the paint in the very end.
Nothing huge that would get me to completely boycott buying the Amazon version, but something to learn first.
Usually I would work on the edges of the blade with my rotary tool, but it left this world :/ I didn't want to wait for the replacement and since I always tell you that it can be done with sanding by hand, it was time to put my money where my mouth is lol
Maybe this project was rather against the odds, with lots of things missing or replaced by the chaos that is life, but in my little shop there is always a way to craft what I set my mind to.
