NASA's Starliner: A Confidence Lesson in Engineering

Engineering is solving problems and your big goal post is achieving “high confidence” in the solution. Getting to 85% can happen pretty quickly, but going closer to 100% from there is when the grind happens. It’s what makes or breaks companies, budgets, and engineers.
Starliner is in the 85-99.9999% world right now. Don’t expect fast answers, but stay focused on the problem. The next test/analysis needs to pull out data that can give high confidence of seal debris mitigation in the thruster lines. If not, then confidence levels do not grow. In that case, expect SpaceX Crew 9 to launch with two astronauts for space to bring Suni & Butch home in early 2025 and Starliner to return autonomously.
