Part of the Minolta Weathermatic Range of cameras that were available in most film formats. Waterproof to 5m, the 1987 Minolta Weathermatic 35 DL was a useful underwater camera. The electrically driven dual focus lens is hidden behind a water-tight window and the battery compartment is sealed. A button on the back of the camera enables "macro" close-ups underwater. Under water the camera works in fix-focus mode, making it usable for distances between 1.2 and 3.6 metres. The camera was originally supplied in a bright yellow kit bag with several accessories.
