Changing Perspectives in Education
Should the focus of work supported by Asha through our project partners be on traditional education, attempting to integrate students in the organized sector, or should we be focusing on vocational training for the unorganized sector? Ajoy Saha goes over the details of employment in the organized and unorganized sector w.r.t public and private sector jobs and highlights the need to focus on vocational training. He puts across an argument for prioritizing employment in any sector, over a focused approach to integrate into the organized sector. And finally, he describes steps Asha can take in this direction.
