Midday Shadows - chapter 10 -
I knew that the angel will come for me the minute that I decided to interfere in his kidnappings. I never thought that it will be so soon though... I was even glad that the last face that I'm going to see will be Brooke's ... but to my big surprise the angel didn't kill me. And a little hope of Brookes presence in that body glittered in my eyes. Anna showed up to warn me too - now it is perfectly clear that she's also an angel. Sam wants to question the girl about her powers, but I don't want to damage her more that she already is. I owe that girl, so I won't let anyone harm her, not even if it was me. Nathanael... the angel that took my love from me, but speared my life... at least today. I promise, I won't stop until I will save Brooke from him or only one of us will be left standing.
