Pop-up improvisation with paper scraps
I love paper scraps. So much that I'm actually looking forward to having enough to improvise a pop-up with them. And recently I have had a lot of paper scraps, mostly triangle and squares, that made me do (I had no choice) some weird Great Mazinger-ish robot fortress -- or interesting abstract pop-up artwork, if I want to put it nicely ; P
This is really the power of V-fold pop-up mechanisms, the simplest there is, just repeated and arranged.

Anyway, it's quite important, IMHO, to keep experimenting and improvising pop-ups: there's bound to be something cool coming out of it at some point, haha. Cheers!

J'adore les chutes de papier. À tel point que j'ai hâte d'en avoir assez pour improviser un pop-up avec. Et récemment j'ai eu plein de chutes, principalement des triangles et des carrés, qui m'ont mené à faire (pas le choix) une forteresse robot bizarre à la Goldorak -- ou une œuvre pop-up abstraite intéressante, si je présente ça bien ; P
C'est vraiment la puissance des systèmes de pli en "V", le plus simple qui soit, simplement répétés et arrangés.
Ça me fait penser qu'il y a quelque chose de similaire dans l'esprit (et dans la forme aussi) dans mon livre animé Une Saison en Enfer, juste ici, avec des triangles également : • Arthur Rimbaud - Une Saison en enfer - A S...
Quoi qu'il en soit, il est capital d'expérimenter et d'improviser des pop-ups: un truc cool en sortira bien un jour, haha. Tchuss!
