NOT SHIT - Demo 2017
There's an obvious joke to be made here, that, in spite of the band's given name, Not shit is... y'know, not actually shit -- but I know better than to pick such low hanging fruit. And by openly acknowledging that it's a lame fucking joke, I not only illustrate that I'm capable of pandering to such hammy, lowbrow humor, but also show that I'm a sarcastic, "jaded" asshole that's too cool for punk rock dad jokes. It's essentially a win-win situation; THAT is how you game the fuckin' system, dude.
Anyways. Here's some (not) shitslappin' hardcore from Orange, California, featuring the drummer of the fantastic Phoebe and HWY!. I ain't sure about what the other dudes are in, but Nason is just about all the validation I need to know that this band... is... not... shit. Did it anyways, har-har, bite me.
And for the record, this video's being uploaded at the band's request. I've got a number of things on my to-post list that's already been covered by other folk, but some of these bands are really stoked on getting exposure on this channel specifically, so I'd feel like (not) shit if I stiffed 'em so far down the line. So to all y'all punk rock connoisseurs, expect some repeats over the next few days. As for everyone else, expect more cool tunes.
