Together we can set up HTTPs to work for our localhost server on our local area network. This will even work for phones and other devices to connect to it over HTTPs.
This tutorial uses the free software OpenSSL to set up a self signed certificate and generate the necessary encryption keys. I demonstrate this with a nodejs and express project. Below is a tutorial to set this up, along with other useful links to information discussed throughout the video.
