Left Upon Read blends modern internet humour with dark fantasy. You play as a knight tasked with saving a princess from a witch's dungeon. Players do so while battling a horde of aquatic monsters (and answering a stream of urgent, incoming text messages).
Left Upon Read was crowned the winner of Abertay University's Dare Academy 2024 games design competition at the UK's biggest video games expo, EGX. It was chosen by a panel of top industry judges at the London event.
