"Good Samaritan" saves family then k!lls parents ☠️
Texas couple Thomas Kamp and Hannah Johnson took their children, as well as Hannah’s parents, Carl and Cynthia, on a weekend camping trip at their recently-purchased property in Tennessee Colony on November the 14th of 2015. At some point, their vehicle got stuck in the mud. The car was eventually freed, however, by a man on a tractor who happened upon the family in need and sprung into action. The purported Good Samaritan was later identified as 33-year-old William Mitchell Hudson. The latter subsequently shared beverages with the family at their campsite, before the situation took a sudden, dark turn. The only one who emerged from the woods was Hudson, who chased Hannah and Carl into their camper trailer. In a subsequent statement to law enforcement, Cynthia claimed to have witnessed Hudson on the steps of the trailer. Cynthia remained hidden for several hours, until she felt it was safe to come out, at which point she called the police. The following morning, officers went to Hudson’s residence, where they found his tractor. A standoff ensued when the man refused to come outside, but he eventually relented and surrendered to the police. He was taken into custody on charges, with his bond set at a reported $2.5 million. Cynthia was taken to the hospital, where she was found to be in stable physical condition. In the aftermath, details began to emerge regarding a potential motive. Hudson’s father had sold the property where the incident took place to Thomas Kamp. The sale reportedly angered Hudson, who was further inflamed by Kamp’s decision to chain-lock the property’s front gate, making it private land.In November of 2017, the man was convicted of three counts.
