(230) Rustic Frontier Knife
Today's short video is of the Buckeye Frontier knife that I completed this week.
This rustic knife is hand forged from 3/16" 1095 steel. It measures 10 1/4" in overall length. It has a blended compound grind with each edge angle ground at 22 degrees. It has been deferentially hardened, acid etched and polished to bring out the "hamon".
The handle scales are made from highly figured stabilized Buckeye Burl with white G10 liners.
The include sheath is hand stitched from 8-9 oz veg tan leather.
I will have at least 4 more of these finished in the next few days with different handle materials.
