THE KEEPER AND THE DOE - The Gateway Singers
The Gateway Singers was a group that formed in the late 1950s, during the so-called folk era of the time. The founding members, some of whom later joined other musical groups, were Lou Gottlieb (later with the Limeliters), Travis Edmondson (later of the duo Bud & Travis), Jerry Walter (later with the Gateway Trio) and Elmerlee Thomas.
