JACK FISH - The Modern Folk Quartet
The Modern Folk Quartet (MFQ) was one of many groups that formed during the period from the 1950s through the 1960s that has come to be known as the second folk revival. The MFQ was formed in 1962 with Chip Douglas, Stan White, Henry Diltz and Cyrus Faryar. The group toured and recorded two albums in the period from 1962 to 1966. In the years that followed the MFQ disbanded and reformed, with different personnel, several times, releasing new albums along the way.
