📌 Assigning a Task to a Developer 👨💻📝
To get started, we'll demonstrate how to create work assignments for your team. First, select the developer's name and the task name with the work ticket number, which we covered in detail in the last video. Then, specify the work type and briefly describe the task. Don't forget to choose the team leader responsible for approving the completed task.
📌 Committing a Task 📝✅
Once the developer has logged in with their credentials and completed the assigned task, it's time to follow these essential steps for a successful commit. Saving the code comes first, followed by code validation using our built-in SDMT tool that checks for code optimization. We'll show you a practical example where the developer needs to remove an empty "if" condition before submitting the code.
Next comes documentation, a crucial step where each file involved in completing the task must be explained thoroughly. The "Help" section is essential for clear communication – developers should briefly explain the task and indicate if they require assistance. Once all four steps are completed, the code can finally be submitted for approval. 📄📋

After committing the work, the developer can check the task's status to see if the team lead has approved it or if it's still pending. As the team lead logs in, they'll find all the pending and approved tasks categorized by project type. Upon selecting a task, they can view all the work and related comments for that specific task. The team lead has the authority to approve or reject each method and provide remarks for improvement. They can also review the new code added by the developer and track changes made to existing methods. 📈🔍

Once the team lead approves the task, the developer's task status is updated accordingly. The developer, in turn, checks for any comments or remarks made by the team lead. After carefully reviewing the feedback, the developer can proceed to commit the tasks in SVN with relevant comments, ensuring a seamless workflow. 🛠️💬
