We visited Omaha Beach 2020
Hi everyone.
despite the threat of Covid-19, we were able to spend a few days at omaha beach, located in the French region of Normandy.
A few weeks earlier we went visit gold, juno and sword beach.
This time we took our time and explored all the hisotrical sites of omaha beach.
In this video you are only able to appreciate the beauty of this beach in 2020.
There aren't many ww2 artifacts left, besides the "brave ones" memorial at the center of the beach and a small ww2 museum near by.
If you really want to visit actual ww2 places, we recomend, the American Cemetery (about 5km away from omaha beach), Point du Hoc (about 10km) and the biggest museum the "overloard museum" (near the American Cemetery).
