1944 Pointe du Hoc, Normandy.
A US ranger squad, landed on this point, with one objective: Destroy the german defenses at the pointe.
Managing to escalate the cliffs, under heavy fire, the misson couldn't fail. The Omaha beach landing depended on it.
They sucessed at great cost, and t'ill this day, they are remembered has one of the most brave moments in WW2 history.
