Beautiful Arromanches, A WW2 HISTORICAL PLACE
On, our second day into the normady region, we came across Arromanches les Bains. A small town, that became knowned has one of the landing sites, for D-Day. On the 6th of june 1944, british solders prepared for the world's first massive invation, to free France, from the germans. Arromanches, is located on the code named "Gold Beach". After D-day, they began the construction of a massive artifical port, known has Mulberry's harbour. Nowadays, we can look at it's amazing cliffs, beach and a ww2 memorial. Just a breath taking experience.
