Our ship went thru the Suez canal to do a job in Souda Bay and while in Souda Bay my two bosses invited me to go with them and a couple of other officers from a different ship; on a sun set dinner cruise. One of the Ladies I am talking to on the boat is the executive officer on my ship, the other lady in the orange shorts is the same rank as the executive officer but she is in charge of the ship’s cargo operations and I work and take orders from both of them. The Gentleman in the funny looking captain’s hat is a real Captain on another ship and I have worked for him on another ship before. That is why I said I was on the boat with my BOSS, my other BOSSS and my other BOSS. I did not know that it was going to be a private boat and we were going to be able to swim and that is why I am wearing those ugly swim shorts because I borrowed them from the gentlemen wearing the captain’s hat.
I was very grateful that they invited me on a cruise with them and it turned out to be a lot of fun.
